ちょっと勉強になった。。。

blabbering nonsense in Japanese cuz I've been watching anime and reading manga and stuff..

anywayz, this kitty(I know it freakishly looks like kero chan but it's a cat) is for a friend.. I owe him like a million presents... 

 

It's pretty much the grey cat on the cover of LB 2924　「あみぐるみネコと仲間たち」. Its ears are based on the double colored dog ears I did before from LB 3098 「動物たちのちいさなあみぐるみ」 and I made it double layered like the deer ears from 3098. Wings are from the golden snitch pattern from here~~ I flipped the pattern for the second wing..Omg I haven't made a golden snitch yet...

Apparently I'm still obsessed w/ wings.. feeling like adding wings to everything orz...

Started a new folder for '12, hopefully it'll get more filled up..

哈..不好意思,学结这么久,居然现在才学团锦...
坠子，绳子，珠子和款式都是我妈挑的，我只是那个做工。
Design学习了《结饰风情》中的#4，作者是林秋月~

length from white bead to diamond knot: ~29cm.
用线：60*5=300cm X 2
余线：~25cm X 4

Start w/ 3rnds(add strings using the larks head knot) :

Use the holding cord and 5 more strings next to the holding cord for the sides of the three feathers.

Get another string to do 2 rows back and forth across the three feathers.
Starting from the top, but skip the holding cord from the rnds on the first row.
Add the strings for in between the sides of feathers on the first row.
#s of strings added from the top down:
2(1 string added using the larks head knot)
1(DHH)
1(DHH)

After the 2 rows, use separate holding cords for each individual feather. Continue to use the same cord for the big feather, and use another cord for the one in the middle.
Rows added after separating the feathers:
5(2,2,2,2,1)

Finally tie the sides of the feathers using DHH.
